I just wanted to thank the safety crew on how quickly they responded to my wreck in turn 4. For those who dont know I took a pretty good hit to the drivers door during the SS feature. lucky for me all my safety equipment did its job and came out without a scratch. I barely had my window net down and the guys on the crew were already at my window to check on me. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Ben, Panels are all off, straighened and ready to put back on. Tell Jason the steering rod is in my garage with your panels and the 20 gage sheet of steel. See you tomorrow.

Ben,

Glad you weren't hurt. Had me concerned. I was right behind Josh and saw it unfold like the hit was in slow motion right square into your door. I'd hazard a guess that additional 1/8" steel door plate just paid handsome dividends! Kudos to whoever (Joe Miller?) suggested is at the SS rules meeting and to AIS for adopting it in the new rules.

I like smart rules!

I'm sorry again Ben.. I'm glad all our safety eqipment worked to I was a little sore but good now. I can't say enough about Randy and Ben very good people!!! Randy sponsors my car and he was just happy we were ok. And as For Jason Dinzler he was hard at work as soon as we got to his shop he had the frame and steering fixed on my car in a hour!!! Bens was fixed the next night... he does all he can for the SS class... 6 cars he has to work on almost every week now thats dedication and he never asks for a thing in return so from me and the rest of the DRS guys thanks alot man!!!!!!

gitter, watch it happen and was glad to hear you were not hurt.the fans like to see the driver walk away from hits like that, but guys like us do not like to see it at all. this is why saftey rules help and why we have them!!!!!
