Everyone at the track is concerned about safety, all the vehicles get checked for safety, we all have to wear the right safety equipment, the safety crews make a speedy approach out on to the track to make sure everyone is safe. Why is it that when a fool puts 200 plus people in danger by not following the rules he does not get penalized for it? someone could have been seriously injured by his action. did the track now make it look like it was alright to put everyone in the pits in danger? every drivers meeting there is always something said about speeding in the pits and going in the wrong pit entrance, the last i knew if someone went in the wrong entrance they were going to be penalized. let alone going the wrong way down pit road. not only go the wrong way but be wreckless about it in the process.
I have to admit in the same race i did go in the wrong pit entrance it was the closest avaible but i stayed under 5 mph and went the correct way to my pits making sure that no one was coming and watching for people. stoping for cars going by and that. so i was in the wrong by going in the wrong entrance but i was not wreckless about it.
people are always watching for cars coming from the direction they go on the track when some idiot goes backwards on pit road it puts everyone in danger that purchased a pit pass. if Greg Roes can get away with what ever he wants to do, Why cant we all?
I vote that he gets the win taken away from him because he should have been penalized either for a lap or he should have been parked no questions asked. he wasnt even warned
