when are we going to get the results ? it might be by the time we have to race again or when they will have time for the people that put the show on so they can make money!!!!!!

I had one of my sponsors call me last week and was rather upset because he thought I hadnt been racing. he kept looking at the ais site and didnt see any results. He was a bit upset and I dont blame him so I had to convince him that I had infact been racing and suggested he look at my site which is updated every week but he said he wanted to see the results on the ais site. So I sent an email with my concerns. I hope we see the results show up soon and stay current because I cant afford to loose a sponsor !!! I also asked about the results page being changed to number format instead of news type results. any form of racing I have been involved in has number format and each weeks results should stay up for the entire season so anyone can go back and check results from past races.

Het Ray,

We took care of double numbers among ourselves in the superstock class. Wondering if you and Eric Centro could get together and decide if one or the other could change a number. I know you had it long before the other truck but it should be easy enough to talk to the other 44 and get it taken care of. As you can imagine it is a scoring nightmare. Both of you should be willing to help make scoring easier. Give he and his dad a visit, make them feel welcome at the track, and let me know if I can help.

Hey Randy,

I already spoke to his Father the first night they ran in our truck series. He was comfortable putting an X on his son's truck and Him and I had a good conversation about running at AIS. I have not heard anything from the track nor from anyone else about changing My number Nor His. . I understand helping out the track for scoring and counting cars but, under General Rules Section 1 it states:
4. CAR NUMBER - All drivers must have car numbers assigned by the track handicapper. Call the Speedway Office before the season begins to verify your number. Whenever possible, requested numbers will be assigned but the handicapper has final say as to prevent number duplication.

That would be a converstation that the track would have to have with Eric. Ive had my number for 3 years now and I reserved My number upon the first year I ran. Also with my family that number has a lot of history. I do understand that vynle costs money, we've all been there. But I reserved My number.

I do also understand that Eric has run that number sence he was a kid in gokarts. Other Tracks score with letters on the end of the numbers. I don't see a problem as long as the track does not.

I don't post much on here any more Randy because all it does it stirr up controversy. I go to AIS every week to have fun and hang out with a lot of Friendly people. it gets aggrivating watching people post stuff on here to vent and then go to the track and still argue about a track that can't settle issues on the nights they need to be and then flows over to an un-updated website and people that need to let it out on the net.
I have had the conversation with Eric's Dad. As long as the track , Eric, And myself doesnt' have an issue.Although just so You know. I do see Your point but, I feel its already been resolved.

I asked on here during the pre-season about reserved numbers. You have numbers that are reserved for drivers who don't race at AIS any more. At what point do those numbers become available for other drivers to use?

Then you have numbers that have been used by drivers for years and someone new comes in and has a number that someone like Ray has been using for years. The 29 was used by Dylan Bancroft in the LM, so Chris Typhair had to choose a new number when he switched from SS to LM.

The WoO LM race had 3 #19 cars running. That caught me completely off guard because I expected to see only one driver with any given number. There are over 100 possible numbers to race with, and there will never be that many cars on the track at one time. I understand how a driver can get attached to a number for various reasons, but it should be respected that first come first serve. Just my 2 cents worth...

Thanks Ray and Eric. It seems odd we changed 2 cars in the superstock class to different numbers and it's ok in the truck class. Hey if the scorers can deal with it and you two can be patient if the results are wrong then so be it.

no problem Randy. also there's two 75's in the late model class if You want another example. Jim Southard and Cooter Byer. Cooter I'm pretty sure put a "b" on his 75 as well.

Hey Randy

As for the double number problem as long as you have a letter for example B or X that can be seen from the tower its ok. In the ss class i am not sure there was a letter to be seen from the tower. I am not 100% sure on this.
