BRAKE CHECK

Postby DINZLER64 on Sun Jun 28, 2009 4:43 pm

What the hell is up with the brake check on the every start of the superstock feature? is that acceptable now? Ive never seen a flagman let something like that go more than once.

I agree that was a real problem, I had a layer of oil on my windshield after the race, Im pretty sure thats why I spun on the last lap. If you layed down that much smoke and oil at Oswego you would be on the trailer for the night, apparently the flagman and officials have no concern for the safety of the drivers

you guys are both correct on the oil leaking on the #22 car, its been that way from the start of the season. I thought by now he would have fixed it or the officials would have made him do something. Maybe he doesnt realize its leaking so much oil. Hey Rick could you take a look at that Please because every ime Im behind you I also see the oil spots start to appear on the windshield, correcting your oil leak may help your handling too !!

Brake Check

Postby AMSVW on Mon Jun 29, 2009 11:15 am

From where I was on the back stretch you could hear the brake check. Squeeling rotors and pads and the sound of contact car to car. Watch the 4 cyl start from week 2, 3 starts all 3 were bad starts the first start sorted out to the actual start order, the 2nd and 3rd start the same car passes to the left and wins the race. The people in the stands know racing no one is being fooled folks. They want to see racing, not BS, remember they are paying to see a show, not a predetermined one.

I see where you all are coming from on brake checking. I saw it a lot last week in all classes. There should be more eyes on the track than there is. I am not to sure if they are just looking at the leaders or the rest of the pack. I myself will try to pay more attention to the cars on the track to help out the tower.
