hot rod wrote:Are you kidding, Paul let anyone in for free, never. Did anyone seriously think they were gonna be paid for that last race? Car count was down because of all the crap that went on and the fans were just as pissed as the drivers cause the grandstand was nearly empty. He must have really gone in the hole on that one, after all the radio was advertizing what a $12,000 purse or something like that. Oh ya damm those radio stations and all that bad advertizing they did all season. It was never right cause when you got to the track it was always something different from what was advertized. It was a bad year for weather..that kept fans from the grandstands. Bad economy kept the car count down..didn't make money in the pits. Look at the bright side, drivers were allowed to use there payout from the week before to pay there way in, that way everyone didn't have to deal with the bad checks. An ideamaybe he is waiting for the banquet and he's gonna let everyone use there last payout to pay there way in! Afterall who would miss that fantastic buffet that food service Mary puts on and that great moral boosting speech about all the improvements Paul is making for next year
. And the best of all the poor Paul and his taxes part. Well this fool is a fool no longer, I will be looking at other options. While I'm pndering my options I think I will attend a professionally run circus like Ringling Brothers.
