North Country Race Talk

Ok guys and girls its time again. We are putting on another derby at the race track. The date is Sep. 12th we have not set an official time yet. We need to get the word out. Anyone interested in running an Imperial let us know we are thinking of a heat by yourselfs if there are enough of them. Then use a pre-ran car in the feature for the winner. Also while I am on the subject if you guys are interested we would like to get a team heat derby together for the spring. The rules are 4 cars per a team must be pre registered the cars are gonna be 6 cyl or if you choose a 4 that would be fine. Winning team advances to the next team that wins. Let us know if anyone is interested.

Gravedigger Paul don't know anything about what goes on. If your talking about the rules they are simple they are the same as the lewis county or onieda county fair except you can put either the gas tank or battery inside. If there is something more you need to know Jerry Ward or Jarad Devienes should be able to help you.

jerry ward won the may show v8 class as it is listed on the speedway page, and he is a well known name for the watson boys right ??

first off yes i am a watsonboy i put that right on the hood of every car i run. i don't try to hide it unlike the gang green boys who don't even paint there car the same any more, but yet alot of them still derby and hang out the same as we do but we still wear are shirts and paint most of are cars the same.
Anyway i guess im the one to talk to. yes i did compete in may did i win the feature ? no did a watson boy win the feature no.
there are 2 inspectors that are old derby drivers (not watsonboys) who will be inspecting cars and making up heats. WHEN THE DERBY STARTS THEY HAVE THE SAY. DERBY DAY I AM JUST A DRIVER AND AT THE END IF 1 OF THE FEATURE DRIVERS WANTS TO HAVE THE WINNING CAR INSPECTED THEN WE WILL. THIS DEMO IS TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND NOT DEAL WITH ALL THE BS LIKE OTHER SHOWS.

I have a SS with a 42 on it... might have a lil beefier roll cage in it than some cars... but it gets entered in the derby every sat night... would it be legal to enter in the demo this weekend?
