I mentioned it earlier in the season about putting cones out so everyone would be running hot laps in the second groove to put some rubber down. now if anyone is against it please let us know but please also explain why ! If we put some rubber in the second groove the racing will be more exciting with some passing and there should be less smashing because everyone wont have to drive up under people and cause so many tempers to flare and damage to there cars. I for one wouldnt want to take too many more hits like I did this past weekend July 18th because of out of control tempers !!!!! I prefer to pass on the high side but it appears there is only one car in our class that can pass their. I dont care why and im not starting anything I just would like to see more side by side racing without the bent metal !! Even in the late models it looked impossible for anyone to pass on the high side. I think the cones blocking the first groove during hot laps is a good solution. I am going to call the speedway and request it once again. if anyone agrees lets all call them and request it to be done. Thank You !!

Gunner, I'm with you on this. I think the 2nd grove is a lot better now than the beginning of the year, but still isn't the same. I'm def for any way of getting some more rubber up there cause i tend to find myself up there, and would like to be able to stick up there. So if you call the track, put my name on the list of people that would like cones during hot laps...

Here is my 2 cents....
Why not start practice 15 minutes earlier and give all divisions 2 practices, one the way it has been, and a second with the cones. This way everybody wins. You'll get to see what your car is doing in the racing groove, and we'll also help the second groove.

hey guys... why does there have to be cones out there to run in the second groove.... when i am practicing or during hot laps i use the second groove to make my car better in the second groove... because the second groove has different banking then the lower groove... thus your car is going to handle different... with the amount of rain we have been having there we are racing on a clean track everyweek......
